The end of last year got pretty busy, pretty fast, so our post became, well…nonexistent. Sorry about that! Now that graduation is behind me (whoop!), the holidays have passed, my travels are done, and my move is {almost} complete, I can finally whip up a new fashion post. With the cold weather rolling back into Texas, I thought I’d share one of the looks I used to stay warm while in Denver a few weeks ago.
This cooler weather means that I am all about layers. Scarves, vest, and button down shirts become my go-to. As do fleece-lined leggings, since jeans post-holiday eating are nobody’s friend…
After a delicious brunch at Lucile’s Creole Café in Boulder, Alex (aka the photographer for this impromptu shoot) and I headed over to the Flatirons. The Flatirons are absolutely beautiful, but trying to tackle the icy/slushy paths in my booties was not the easiest of task.
For this beautiful, but cool, day in Boulder, I paired my J Crew Factory denim button down with my signature leopard scarf, and Columbia slim puffer vest. These were layered over my C9 by Champion fleece-lined leggings and Jessica Simpson booties. I topped off the look with my favorite Ray Ban’s and maroon Kendra Scott earrings.
With my move almost complete, be expecting some home décor/tour posts to come. We promise to try and keep up with our post as a 2015 resolution. We hope your year is off to a great start! If there’s anything you’d like to see from us, let us know in the comments below.
